PROMPT
Alright. Take out your little writer notebooks (my wife makes fun of how many I have), I have an assignment for those of you who may happen to stumble across this.
Write a poem that adheres to each of the following:
1) Is 18 lines long
2) Is composed of three stanzas (that's six lines each)
3) Has an interesting line break that sets a trend for the next two stanzas
4) Is based on a place that is significant to you
5) Has no more than one Geographic proper noun
6) Uses at least three words of the following word bank (at least one for each part of speech) :
N. - brevity, crepe paper, cuticle, judo, shard, roof, grain, tortilla, puddle
V. - swell, punch, remain, sweep, predict, adopt, scar
ADJ. - lily-white, cloudy, formal, untapped, gold, vaporous, fictional
7) And relates through a central metaphor of weather
If anyone likes what they write, you can email it, and I'll post it so we can all see how we handle a similiar equation. Any takers?

I'm working on this one, Jae. I think it's a good prompt for a poem I need to write for my thesis.
